PAN (Permanent Account Number) is now an important document that is needed in India for tax purpose and financial transactions. There are two ways to apply for the corrections, if the application is filed using the online platform, it will take only 4 to 7 days to get the new e-PAN delivered to an email address. However, this can be longer when the application is filed physically at PAN centres. If the payment and correction are made online then it takes lesser time than other methods of filing for the PAN correction. The PAN that is sent through the post often takes a longer time than the application that is made through the online portals. 

As per experts, it is also clear that all the case has its own time and may depend on other factors too. There is a separate time period when the corrections are reflected on the PAN over the internet and the PAN card actually delivered to the postal address. Thus, when you apply for any change in the PAN, it is necessary to wait for the waiting period of an average of 7-15 days to get the changed reflect in the card online. After few days, you will get the corrected PAN delivered at the address.
