The company said in a statement as follows “Bharti Airtel has acquired a strategic stake in Aquilliz which is a Blockchain as a service company under the Bharti Startup Accelerator Program, subject to applicable statutory approval,”

The company has not yet divulged the details of the investment in the company.

The company Aquilliz is based on a technology based on Blockchain and currently working from Bangalore city.

The company allows brands to create secure and consent-based solutions to engage with customers in a rapidly evolving digital economy that is aimed to become decentralized.
