Google Sued for EUR 2.1 Billion Over Promotions by Swedish Website PriceRunner
Google sued for EUR 2.1 billion against the promotions by Swedish Website PriceRunner.
PriceRunner said the company was seeking damages for profits it lost in the UK since 2008 and similarly in Sweden and Denmark since 2013.
European Economy Area has two recipients one is Google and the other is Google. Both have a monopoly over the region.

The tech giant company PriceRunner, a price comparison site said it was suing the giant tech company Google for the amount of EUR 2.1 billion. The base of the suit is the self-promotions by Goggle of thee self-shopping comparisons.
Swedish Website being a tech startup platform said that “Final damage amount of the lawsuit to be significantly higher,” and also told the violations are still going on.
Mickael Lindahl, Chief Executive also revealed another aspect of the lawsuit as it was also a fight between the tech giant and said “for consumers who have suffered tremendously from Google’s infringement of the competition law for the past fourteen years and still today.”
The site also revealed that it was seeking the damages for profits it lost in Britain since 2008 as well as in Sweden and Denmark since 2013.
PriceRunner also claimed that Google has its Monopoly position in the European Area. It also said that individually Google is holding about 90 percent of the search engine users.
The site PriceRunner is based in Sweden but also it used to operate in Denmark, Norway, and the UK. The company has previously said it is planning for expansion.
