Audi to Focus on Electric Vehicles and Discontinue ICE Vehicles by 2033
Audi, the German luxury car maker would be focusing on the idea of electrical vehicles by 2033. Meanwhile, it has decided to stop making cars which usually run on international combustion engines (ICE), mentioned within an official statement released on Tuesday. Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon has mentioned that they would stop the production of current models which are powered by ICE and would begin transition to sell electrical vehicles only from 2033 onwards.

Dhillon has made a clarification that the company would be manufacturing all the models that exists with petrol engine and would retail until 2032 for its transition to electrical vehicles.
In a response to the query about the incidents of battery operated vehicles which are rising in flames, he mentioned that all the components for the battery were brought one by one and were assembled at the factories by trained professionals with utmost regard for 'safety' and 'quality'.
Well, once the company's pre-used car showroom Audi Approved Plus was inaugurated here, he has made it clear that it was absolutely the 17th outlet of the 22 planned to be inaugurated by this year.
It can be noticed that Audi India has reported 101 per cent sales in 2021. Well, in comparison to the previous year and during the first six months of 2022, the company has witnessed a high jump of 49 per cent in the sales.
