# Audi to Focus on Electric Vehicles and Discontinue ICE Vehicles by 2033

**Audi**, the **German** [luxury car](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1429/a-cargo-ship-full-of-luxury-cars-is-burning-in-somewhere-in-atlantic) maker would be focusing on the idea of electrical vehicles by **2033**. Meanwhile, it has decided to stop making cars which usually run on **[international](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/85496/celebration-of-international-chocolate-day) combustion engines (ICE)**, mentioned within an official statement released on **Tuesday**. **Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon** has mentioned that they would stop the [production](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/story/1489/the-countries-that-dominate-world-fossil-fuel-production) of current models which are powered by ICE and would begin transition to sell [electrical vehicles](https://www.mindstick.com/news/641/power-strips-will-allow-charging-to-the-electric-vehicles) only from **2033** onwards.
