IBM Brings Digital Transformation to India's Startup Capital
IBM has opened a new IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC) in Mysuru, India, to assist the country's fast, large development rates and deliver complete hybrid cloud and AI technology consulting services.
The CIC is an IBM Consulting entrepreneurial start-up that specialises in design, software engineering, and analytics. The aim of the CIC is to help clients improve their businesses by leveraging delivery capabilities across the whole project workflow, from conception to structure to implementation.
'Mysuru is undergoing rapid digital transformation, according to Amit Sharma, Managing Partner, Worldwide Global Delivery. 'The IBM CIC will play a critical role in the city's digital transformation of the IT sector, creating new job opportunities and fostering the next generation of technological innovation.'
This quarter, IBM CIC plans to hire approximately 10,000 people around the world. This follows a year of double-digit job growth in its Global Delivery Centers. The company's skill sets will be expanded in areas like AI, intelligent workflows, applications development and administration, and hybrid cloud as a result of this sustained investment in people. Through close collaboration with clients and partners, including cloud solution and service providers, new capabilities will help to open up new business streams and strengthen the IT industry ecosystem in the region.
'This is a huge accomplishment for the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) and its 'Spoke-shore Strategy,' which aims to persuade enterprises to expand its business infiltrations in Mysuru and other regions as part of our Beyond Bengaluru effort.' We congratulate IBM and extend a warm welcome to the IBM CIC in Mysuru,' stated Dr. Ashwath Narayana, Minister for Higher Education, Information Technology and Broadcasting, Science and Technology, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood. 'With IBM's support as a significant employer, Karnataka is set to maintain and expand as a global leader in social developments and special technology development,' he added.
IBM Consulting will have eight CIC sites throughout India, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, NCR, and Pune.
