Microsoft Word update features a ''Darker Mode"
Microsoft Word is working on a feature that would be loved by Dark lovers or the people who like to work on fully dark mode. In simple terms, it would be a darker dark mode for the Word Documents.
According to the gathered information, the software creator is working on an update to MS Word that will give a dark tone to an entire canvas whereas, the current dark mode feature modifies the ribbon and toolbars, but the canvas remains white.
Program manager of Microsoft's Word team Ali Forelli informed that, "This has been a long-requested feature from many of Office Insiders and we're excited to make it happen." He also added, "With Dark mode, you'll notice that the previously white page color is now a dark grey/black." The update will adjust the colors in a document when the canvas will change. Reds, blues, yellows, and other bright colors will have a slight shift to mute the overall effect of the color palette" and match the dark background.
The new dark mode update is like that of what is constituted by OneNote, which has options to change a dark canvas into a light one and vice-versa. Updated Word will have a Switch Modes button in its ribbon to switch to dark and light canvas, and the user can also permanently disable the dark canvas on the updated version.
