Realme unveiled its latest truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, the Realme Buds Air 5 and Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, in India on August 23. These earphones mark the newest additions to Realme's TWS audio lineup, launching alongside the Realme 11 5G and Realme 11X 5G smartphones. 

Boasting an in-ear design, both models offer an active noise cancellation (ANC) feature capable of reducing external noise by up to 50 dB. Notably, the regular Realme Buds Air 5 house 12.4mm drivers, while the Buds Air 5 Pro are equipped with 11mm drivers.

Price and Availability

• The Realme Buds Air 5 are priced at Rs. 3,699 and will be available in Arctic White and Deep Sea color options, with sales commencing from August 26.
• On the other hand, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs. 4,999. They will be offered in Astral Black and Sunshine Blue colors and will be up for sale starting August 29. Both models can be purchased from Flipkart, Realme.com, and leading retail stores.

• Both the Realme Buds Air 5 and Buds Air 5 Pro come with an oval-shaped charging case and are equipped with the ANC feature, capable of reducing external noise by up to 50dB. This technology utilizes 4000Hz ultra-wideband noise reduction.
• The Buds Air 5 Pro stands out with its 11mm coaxial dual drivers, which include a 6mm tweeter. In comparison, the regular Buds Air 5 boasts 12.4mm drivers.
• Realme claims that the Buds Air 5 earphones offer a latency rate of up to 45 milliseconds, while the Pro model boasts an even lower latency rate of up to 40 milliseconds.
• Additional audio enhancements include Dolby Atmos audio technology for the vanilla Buds Air 5 and Hi-Res audio for the Buds Air 5 Pro. Both models support LDAC Bluetooth codec and 360-degree spatial audio effects.
• Connectivity-wise, the new earphones feature Bluetooth 5.3 and are compatible with Google Fast Pair. They offer touch controls for easy playback and noise cancellation management, and these controls can be customized through the Realme Link app.

• The Realme Buds Air 5 promises a total battery life of up to 38 hours, including the charging case. Meanwhile, the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, being the premium option, claims up to 40 hours of playback time with the charging case. Quick charging is also emphasized, as both models offer up to seven hours of music playback time with just ten minutes of charging.
