
Samsung Launches Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5
Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. The new devices feature a number of improvements over their predecessors, including a more durable design, a faster processor, and longer battery life.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 has a 7.6-inch main display and a 6.2-inch cover display. Both displays are made with Samsung's new Eco² AMOLED technology, which is said to be more durable and energy-efficient than previous generations. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and has 12GB of RAM. It also has a 10MP selfie camera on the cover display and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP wide-angle camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera on the rear.

Both devices run Android 13 and have a 4,400mAh battery. They are also water-resistant to IP68 standards.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available for pre-order starting today. They will go on sale on August 11th. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 will start at $1,799, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will start at $999.
