There is a difference found in the previous screen of the Beta version of WhatsApp when going for registering the device to the current screen. Recently the Beta’s screen says in the device you are using as a “companion” when the code will be scanned with the main phone but currently there does not available to be an actual code to scan.

This feature was reportedly placed on the WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.22.10.13 update.

The giant social media application WhatsApp is working to provide us with a new feature in which we can expand its multi-device support to secondary smartphones and tablets. With the new feature, the users can use their single account on multiple devices

The screenshot of the registration page shows up the interface while opening WhatsApp on a secondary mobile device. The screenshot has an option as “Register device as Companion” which tells the users an idea of what the feature might look like after going live.

Previous month WhatsApp announced the feature of multi-device use and now this allows both Android and IOS users to use their WhatsApp accounts on different devices for transportation of messages from one device to another device.
