Recent Cyber-Attacks happened in some giant companies including Microsoft and Okta and the responsibility for the hacks was taken by the Lapsus$ hacker’s group. The main mastermind of the group is might be an England-based teenager. As per the Bloomberg Report.

Lapsus$ hacking group has taken the responsibility of hacking data from many giant tech companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Ubisoft, Nvidia, and Okta. As per the report of Bloomberg, an England-based teenager might be the main lead role in the hacking group.

Bloomberg said about the mastermind “four researchers investigating the hacking group Lapsus$, on behalf of companies that were attacked, said they believe the teenager is the mastermind,” the teen has not been arrested under any law enforcement even after using the online aliases like ‘White’ and ‘Breachbase’ and not even the researchers have proved him to be a part of the Lapsus$ hacking group.

The blamed teenager is said to be living 5 miles outside of Oxford University. Bloomberg told the meeting to his mother happened through a “doorbell intercom system” in which they talked with his mother only for 10 minutes. His mother told him they are unaware of the allegations being imposed on her child. While declining the request of Bloomberg for meeting with her son or for an interview with him, she said the matter was related to law enforcement and she was contacting the police,” the news agency said.

It seems that Lapsus$ does not just consist of one leader in the hacking group because Bloomberg also searched a teenager in Brazil and more than seven accounts have been linked with the group.

 The cybersecurity expert Brian Krebs said the core member of the group uses online aliases like “Oklaqq” and “WhiteDoxbin” and also purchased a website Doxbin where people can post or search for the personal information of others for doxing.

Krebs reports many reasons and techniques that can help to find the main head of the Lapsus$ hacking group.
