I have an iOS application built using a UIWebView and HTML5 websockets. The app experiences seemingly random crashes. It has occurred while a user is interacting with it
and during longevity tests where no interaction between user and app occurs.
The crash logs all have the following:
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Subtype: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00000000
This is an EXC_BAD_ACCESS type of code which relates to accessing deallocated memory. In order to find this you need to enable NSZombie objects. to enable NSZombie objects go to product-> Scheme->Edit scheme this will display the following dialog-
