.test()provides users with a stronger solution for string searches. Using this method leads to a true response when a pattern appears and always produces false responses when no pattern exists. Using the expression/hello/i.test("Hello World")returns true because the pattern/hello/isuccessfully finds "hello" regardless of the case.When performing advanced pattern matching the regular expression syntax allows users to utilize wildcards and character classes.
