I wanted to set text box background to inform users to only enter %.

I wanted the % symbol to be present at one end of the text box even as the user is typing.

You can use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) Style Tags to add a color background to your form input boxes.

The INPUT tag is used to create input fields within a web page form.

You can change the font, input text color, input text size and the background color of your INPUT box by using the STYLE attribute.

<INPUT type="text" STYLE="color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Verdana; font-weight: bold; font-size: 12px; background-color: #72A4D2;" size="10" maxlength="30">
