Benefits of GRE Coaching

Along with the GMAT scores, you may know that business schools have started accepting GRE scores as well. According to the IMFS GRE Coaching in Pune This is good news for applicants for the following reasons:

• Many Indian students who’ve gone through the process of applying for Masters degree already have a given GRE exam and have GRE score.

• With a competitive GRE score, you can apply to a wider range of programs.

• The exam fee for GRE is lesser than GMAT.

• As compare to GMAT, GRE is easy.

If you want to crack GRE for any of the above reasons, here are some basic guidelines to create your GRE study plan.

Although the designers of the GRE General Test assert that the test assesses only overall skills and general ability, you cannot walk into your test centre with just a prayer on your lips and a heart full of hope. By the day of the test, preparation and practice would be your mantra. Here are a few quick tips to get you into the groove.

1) The first step is to decide when you want to start your course in the school of your choice. You need to complete your test by October or November the year before if you want to join the school in the fall session. Most students who are hoping for a scholarship or financial support prefer the fall season.

  2) The second step is to understand the test format and structure correctly. The test consists of a quantitative segment, verbal segment and an analytic writing segment.

3) In the computer-based test, computer-adaptive testing is used for all the three segments: that is, if you answer the first few questions correctly, the questions will become tougher as you progress in the paper, and these tougher questions will get you more points.

4) On the other hand, if you answer the first few questions incorrectly, you will receive easier questions that carry lesser points. By using the GRE’s official website run by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), you should make yourself familiar with this system which conducts the test.

5) Do also remember that you should do well in your current course, as many schools look for a good academic record along with a top GRE score for admissions. But if you are planning for the GRE while you are still preparing for a qualifying course then you will have the time to ensure not only good marks in your final examinations in your current college but also a top GRE score with adequate practice and preparation.

6) You need to learn to manage your preparation-time well and also the time allowed at the test. You should manage your time well enough to answer all the questions within each section.

7) Remember that you are not penalised for wrong answers, and guessing the answer to a question is better than leaving out the question.

So hope that this guide would help you to set your future goals and work hard on it. For the same, all you need is a GRE institute in Pune which will guide you throughout the preparation, helps you with practice and teaches you each and everything from basics. You will get this from the IMFS which is a renowned GRE Coaching in Pune.
