But which approach is better? Below will be the merits and demerits of each so as to enable the administration to decide where to place their advertising resources.

Google ads is one of the most effective internet marketing platforms that enable organizations target the targeted customers based on the search queries. Google Ads gives you the opportunity to select certain keywords, so your ad will be displayed when a person searches for the specific terms in the window.

  • Extensive Reach: Google Ads is useful when reaching out to billions of users is a goal since it connects with people around the world.

  • High Competition: Competitive platforms of industries makes popular keywords costly to acquire. 
  • Complexity: Managing and especially implementing the Google Ads campaigns may be hard and require some professional skills to be used.

Facebook Ads 

Facebook Ads it’s an advertising platform of the social network where companies can reach users according their preferences, behaviours and age. It is also most suitable for business to consumer industries since it is able to reach a very specific demographic of consumers. 

Pros: 

  • Advanced Targeting Options: Facebook Ads helps to adjust the targeting since there are a lot of parameters to select the necessary user base by interests, behaviors, etc. 
  • Engaging Ad Formats: Facebook also has different types of ads that include the image, video and carousel ads because it can be easy to pull the users in. 
  • Cost-Effective: It could also be cheaper than some of the other platforms especially if the firm has limited capital to commence the advertising campaign. 

 Cons: 

  • Declining Organic Reach: While Facebook boasts of a large audience, it has become increasingly difficult for the businesses to post for their audiences to view due to the cut in the organic reach. 
  • Ad Fatigue: Marketers tend to run high numbers of ads on the users’ timeline, and this makes the users are overwhelmed by the ads and therefore, the engagement rates drop.

 LinkedIn Ads 

LinkedIn Ads is best suited for B2B marketing, since it allows only targeting users based on their jobs, companies they work for, and industries. This makes LinkedIn Ads even more useful for enterprises who want to target people in the decision making positions.

  • Professional Audience: LinkedIn Ads is perfect for targeting professionals – that makes it perfect for most B2B businesses. 
  • Targeted Campaigns: The platform can be used to target campaigns by very specific professional parameters such as the title, industry, and size of company. 
  • High-Quality Leads: Another advantage of LinkedIn Ads is that they can produce high-quality leads because of the platform is professional-oriented. 

 Cons: 

  • Higher Costs: LinkedIn Ads cost being relatively higher than Google and Facebook advertisements. 
  • Limited Reach: Furthermore, even though, the site is linked to a rather specific audience, its traffic is not as large as on other social platforms. 

Conclusion 

All in all, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or LinkedIn Ads are about your business objective, audience, and your pocket. Google Ads is suitable for firms with intent to target users, while Facebook Ads is ideal for a specific audience, thus suitable for a viral or trend marketing, or any kind of social marketing campaign which makes use of viral marketing. LinkedIn Ads, on the other hand, is unbeatable for B2B Marketing. It will be very helpful to know the strong and weak points of each platform in order to decide well on where to place our money for advertising.
