SEO is also known as search engine optimization. Basically, when you don’t know what to find on the internet, you put the words on the search engine website. For example, let’s say you’re trying to find how to remove stains on the carpet. You write on the search engine “how to clean carpet stains”. There will then be a plethora of sites that will show up as the results. When the SEO for the sites are good, they will tend to rank up higher in the results. However, there can be more things to think about when it comes to SEO.
 
A few important things about SEO

1. There are a lot of things that SEO can be used to maximize and make sure that your website ranks up higher in the results. Going back to our example, most people would write the entire question “how to clean carpet stains”. However, even if the person just inputs the words “clean, carpet stains”, then you can still get somewhat the same results.

2. If you want to use SEO to its full potential, then you need to put those keywords in a good density on your site. You can just use clean and carpet stains as your keywords or a couple of different combinations.

3. One other thing to keep in mind is that you shouldn’t overuse or flood the content with a lot of keywords. Most people do only three to five uses of the keywords. Too much usage will not necessarily rank your site above the results because of the density.

4. Just because your site ranks up as number one for today, doesn’t mean that it can rank up the same for the next day and later on. That’s why you can update your content from time to time, performing a good amount of SEO.
 
Just a few things to consider

a. Even if the content isn’t that good, when the SEO is actually perfect, your sites can still rank up higher. The keyword density and usage are the keys to keep up higher in the ranks.

b. If you do need some good SEO to be done, you can hire people to do the job for you. You may pay a bit more but if the results come, then you can reap in some of the rewards.

c. There are also some online plugins that help you determine if your SEO is good enough. The thing to remember is that you can always update the content to keep up with the rankings.
 
SEO can be really helpful for your site but if you have no idea about how to do it, then you can just hire the right people for the job.
