Broken Starter

A starter is an electric motor which is connected to the battery. It sets the engine in motion when you turn the ignition switch on. Clogged Fuel Filter

With regular driving, the fuel filter of your car gets dirty. It attracts dirt, grease, muck, etc. and prevents them from entering the engine directly. As this buildup increases, it can restrict the flow of fuel to the engine which will prevent the engine from starting instantly as the engine does not get sufficient fuel to burn which is needed for starting. Ideally, you should inspect your fuel filter regularly for clogging and get it cleaned. You should also change the fuel filter after every 20,000 km or less if you drive on gravel roads frequently.

Dirty Air Filter

Airflow is very important for your engine to work properly. Used cars will have older air filters which may have developed considerable dirt buildup. There could be dust, grease, and other different types of buildup which can block the flow of air into your car’s intake. Fuel in your car will need air for ignition and due to reduced airflow, the ignition does not take place which leads to your car not starting. You should check your air filter for dirt buildup and clean or replace it as the need may be.
