In this article I would discuss about the Database Mail which is used to send the Email using SQL Server.
Database Mail Configuration
To Create a Database Mail profile
- In Object Explorer, connect to the SQL Server instance you want to
configure Database Mail on, and expand the server tree.
- Expand the Management node
- Double click or (right click configure database mail ) Database Mail to open the Database Mail Configuration Wizard.
- On the Select Configuration Task page, select Manage Database Mail
accounts and profiles option and click Next.
- On the Manage Profiles and Accounts page, select Create a new
profile option, and click Next.
- On the New Profile page, specifiy the Profile name, Description and
add accounts to be included in the profile, and click Add button .
- create new email Account.
- Click On New Account
- On the New DataBase Mail Account page, specifiy the Account name,
Description and add accounts to be included in the SMTP Details, and
click OKbutton .

Click To Finish Button
Click To Close Button
Right Click to Database mail and send test E-mail.
Select your mail profile and include to email Id ,subject,body and Send Test E-Mail.
