How to Stream to PlayStation Vue

What is PlayStation Vue?

PlayStation Vue is an online video service from Sony that replaces cable or satellite TV. In exchange for a monthly subscription, you get a big bundle of live TV channels, such as ESPN and CNN, along with DVR-like features and on-demand programming, all available on a variety of Internet-connected devices.

PlayStation™Vue is available across a variety of TV-connected and mobile devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV®, Roku® Players and TVs, Android TV, a computer web browser, mobile devices, PlayStation®4 consoles, and PlayStation®3 consoles. PlayStation™Vue offers a powerful in and out-of-home DVR with lots of storage and no recording conflicts, multiple profiles, On Demand programming, and premium channels that can be purchased individually or with a multi-channel plan. PlayStation™Vue does not require a PlayStation® console, and there are no annual contracts.

The service that got the best score when we reviewed it is PlayStation Vue. This platform offers a great selection of channels strewn over the four bundles it offers – Access ($44.99/mo), Core ($49.99/mo), Elite ($59.99/mo), and Ultra ($79.99/mo) -, as well as a few extra channel packs and premium networks.

All four bundles from PlayStation Vue feature ABC, ESPN, and ESPN 2. So, you’ll just have to decide which one to pick based on what other channels there are and the price.

PlayStation Vue Simultaneous Streams

Through this service, you’ll get 5 simultaneous streams. That’s far more than you get with every other service on offer, with the exception of Hulu’s Unlimited Screens add-on. But with PlayStation Vue, you’re getting that without having to pay extra. You’ll also get 10 user profiles per account.

PlayStation Vue DVR

Each of those user profiles will get to enjoy their own, unlimited 28-day cloud DVR. Unfortunately, PlayStation Vue will only save your recordings for 28 days, but you can still record an unlimited amount number of shows during that time.
PlayStation Vue On-Demand Library

PlayStation Vue offers a wide selection of on-demand content from the channels available in its service packages. The larger the package, the more TV shows, movies and sporting events you’ll get on-demand. Not all content from every channel is available, however, but your PlayStation Vue account information can be used to log in to numerous TV Everywhere apps and individual channel websites.

How To Watch UFC on PlayStation Vue?

Given your goal here is to save money and how to watch UFC? you can completely ignore the “Elite” and “Ultra” subscription packages (unless you want every channel PS Vue has to offer, that is). All you need is “Access”, which provides ESPN and ESPN2, among 40+ other channels. You can watch UFC Prelims on ESPN and if you wanted to watch PPV fight you need to pay extra $5 to buy ESPN+. You can use the PS Store, not Vue directly.
