We all know about google or at least listen to the name of Google. Google is an American multinational technology company that specializes in Internet-related services and products. We all know it as the world’s biggest search engine. Google has launched many products and companies like Google ads, Google Classroom, Google meets, Gmail, and many more others to make our lives easy. Recently Google launched its latest product called MUM.
SO the first question that comes to mind that what is Google MUM?
Let’s talk about Google MUM.
MUM stands for Multitask Unified Model (MUM). It is Google’s new technology that is created for an answer and simplifies those question that has no any direct answer like a complex type of quarries and research-based tasks.
Google's Vice President of Search Pandu Nayak said about MUM that 'We trained MUM on a high-quality subset of the web corpus, where we removed low-quality content and explicit adult content. Importantly, it is trained on 75 languages at the same time”.
The company had claimed that this model was according to Google, it’s supposed to be 1000x more powerful than the previous update BERT model, which is currently used to parse almost all English queries on its search engine. BERT is a powerful language model stands for (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers) that proved a breakthrough on release.
The most important thing about MUM is that this model not only understands information across multiple formats but also generates information in the same language languages and formats. They also claim that it has the ability to do many different tasks at once.
So it is clear that MUM is the strongest language model built on the same transformer system as BERT, which made waves back in 2019 but 1000 times stronger than BERT.
It has the potential that can change the whole SEO working model. But we have to wait for some time to see the real impact of it.
