WhatsApp users can now set one minute long voice messages as status
WhatsApp, the instant messaging app with billions of users worldwide, will soon allow users to set voice messages up to one minute long as status updates. While the current version of WhatsApp allows users to exchange 30-second-long audio messages as status updates, a recent WABetaInfo report indicates that the capability has been enhanced to handle voice messages up to a minute long, which is double the previous restriction.
Highlights:
- WhatsApp will allow one-minute voice messages as status updates, up from 30 seconds.
- This update simplifies sharing longer audio without splitting recordings.
- Currently in beta, it will expand to more users soon.
The extended voice note duration is extremely useful for users who post status updates using voice notes since it eliminates the need to break audio recordings into different pieces. In the long term, this will save time and make the communication processor more useful.
All you have to do is select WhatsApp beta customers for Android and iOS and add a one-minute audio observer as their fame. To hear these voice notes, you may need to upgrade your WhatsApp to the latest version.
To set voice notes as popularity updates, open WhatsApp in your smartphone, then navigate to the 'Updates' tab in the bottom bar and press the pencil-like icon. Now, press the microphone icon inside the bottom right nook of the display screen to file a voice note that can be shared as a standing replacement.
The option to create minute-long voice messages as popularity updates is now restricted to a small group of customers at the maximum latest beta and may be extended to more beta testers inside the coming days, although it is doubtful if it is going to be available to anybody.
WhatsApp has been testing and introducing new features over the last several weeks, including the option to use AI-generated photographs as profile pictures, preventing users from capturing screenshots of profile pictures on iPhones, and a revamped voice call UI.
