Wipro announced on Thursday that it is cooperating with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) to offer a higher education programme in artificial intelligence to certain of its employees. The online Master of Technology (MTech) course will cover topics such as AI, ML/AI foundations, Data Science, and Business Analytics.

The agreement will provide chosen Wipro employees with access to IISc faculty, online lectures, libraries, and alumni networks. They could also receive coaching from Wipro's seasoned personnel. Acceptance into the programme will be determined by IISc-designed entrance examinations and evaluations.

In a press statement, Rajesh Sundaresan, Dean, Division of EECS, IISc, stated that the programme syllabus for working professionals has been designed to the same high standards as our full-time programmes, with our teaching staff giving content online to train students on fundamental ideas and real-world applications.
