iPhone 14 launch event, dubbed ‘Far Out', was ready to start at 10:30pm IST tonight. The Cupertino-based company was predicted to unveil its next generation of iPhone models which comprised of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch Series 8 was expected to launch, and was it has also mentioned to include a new Apple Watch Pro model. Apple might also launch the AirPods 2 Pro at the event tonight. The company's launch event was going to be livestreamed via YouTube and also the Apple website, and the individual would also watch it within the player embedded at the top of the live blog.

This was the first major modification to the iPhone's display notch

Whereas the iPhone 14 was not expected to come with noteworthy updates to its design, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models were tipped to swap the notch for a brand new “unified” hole punch and pill cutout. This was suppose to be the first major modification to the iPhone's display notch since it was absolutely introduced with the iPhone X in 2017.

The company had expected to discontinue the “mini” model in favour of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, it was mentioned that the iPhone 14 was of equivalent display size as the iPhone 14 Pro Max model. Previously, Apple had launched the iPhone SE (2022) in March which was equipped with the A15 Bionic chip, that was expected to power the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models.

At the same time, the Apple Watch Series 8 was probably going to feature the same design as last year's Series 7 lineup. However, this year's models were tipped to feature a brand new low-power mode, whereas customers would expect to look at a brand new health monitering feature within the type of body and skin temperature monitering.

Apple was expected to launch a brand new Apple Watch Pro model, which was mentioned as durable, rugged version of its smartwatch for active users which was equipped with a titanium body. This model was tipped to feature a bigger display than the others with a brand new button.

Finally, Apple has been expected to launch a brand new model of its true wireless earphones, the AirPods Pro 2. It probably to succeed the AirPods Pro that made their debut in October 2019, the new earphones were mentioned to feature the same design whereas giving improved active noise cancellation and audio quality. Previous reports has recommended that the earphones might provide support for MagSafe wireless charging and USB Type-C wired charging.

As similar to previous Apple events, people were expecting the Far Out launch event to begin with a keynote from Apple's CEO Tim Cook. The company was possibly to announce the new iPhone series, followed by details of alternative new product.
