President Joe Biden in his first State of the Union Address raised the concern over the safety of children when the world is transforming itself with a new form of technology. The social media sites and the world is very dangerous for small kids who deserve a natural atmosphere instead of Instagram and Facebook.

Joe Biden said in his Union Address to focus on the security of children and the impact of such social media technology on the mental health of people. Biden asked congress to make some new rules of strict nature. White House planned to make specific funding requests to research and to improvise the online safety of children.

Biden asked in his first Union Address “It’s time to strengthen privacy protection, ban targeted advertising to children, and demand tech companies stop collecting personal data on our children,” said on Tuesday night.

The request to control the security of children from social media platforms comes after the Facebook Whistleblower Frances Haugen, Facebook Whistleblower testified it before several committees have accused Meta to turn its blind eyes to the safety of young users.

The US administration has the foresight to strengthen the rules and makes it necessary to roll out stronger Children’s Privacy Rules

US President said “As Frances Haugen, who is here with us tonight, has shown, we must hold social media platforms accountable for the national experiment they are conducting on our children for profit, said Joe Biden.
