I have an Excel workbook with several tabs, linked formulas, and a few summary sheets. I’d like Claude to help spot an inconsistency in the totals, but I’m wary of relying on an analysis that treats each tab as if it were a separate table.

Has anyone used Claude on a multi-sheet Excel workbook with formulas that refer to other tabs? I’m curious whether it can follow those relationships reliably, and whether the way you upload or describe the workbook affects the results.
