# Can Claude work with formulas across a multi-sheet Excel workbook?

I have an Excel workbook with several tabs, linked formulas, and a few summary sheets. I’d like Claude to help spot an inconsistency in the totals, but I’m wary of relying on an analysis that treats each tab as if it were a separate table.

Has anyone used Claude on a **multi-sheet Excel workbook** with formulas that refer to other tabs? I’m curious whether it can follow those relationships reliably, and whether the way you upload or describe the workbook affects the results.
