I use Claude Desktop for both personal experiments and work, and I’m trying to avoid giving every conversation access to the same tools. Is it possible to configure MCP server permissions per workspace, or are the available servers effectively shared across the app?

I’m interested in what people do to keep a work-only server, such as an internal file search, away from personal projects without constantly changing configuration by hand.
