For some product research, I want answers based only on a small set of sources: a vendor’s documentation, a few standards bodies, and perhaps two independent review sites. Can Perplexity keep a search within a list like that, or will it still pull in other pages when it thinks they’re relevant?

I’m looking for a repeatable way to scope the search, not just a prompt that asks it to prefer certain sites. If you’ve tried this, how did you check that the answer really stayed within the requested sources?
