Reynaud’s disease and its symptoms

If one finds that the colours of their fingers and toes have changed when there is a down in temperature then one might be suffering from Raynaud’s disease. It is mainly a spasm of the blood vessels which actually affects the blood circulation in the ties and fingers making them look paler. Not only that, it can also affect other body parts like tips of nose, ears and nipples.

The severity and the frequency of this disease always depend on the extent of spasm which the blood vessels suffer in case of a Raynaud’s disease. One can look for Ayurvedic cure for Raynaud’s disease because they are natural and they hardly have any side effects.

- A feeling of coldness in the body parts like skin of ears, fingers, toes, tips of nose and others.

- There can be a change of colour in the mentioned areas and they can turn from pale white to blue and purple and they can also turn numb.

- There can be a prickly sensation and a stinging pain on the application of heat and then the colour changes back to red when blood flow becomes normal in that area.

Causes of Raynaud’s disease

The actual causes behind the disease have not been discovered yet but it is said that the exposure to sever cold can actually cause some abnormal spasms in the blood vessels, making them contract and then obstructing the blood flow. This can go on for a long duration and if that happens then one can suffer from oxygen deficiency.

This disease is actually predominant on people who live in harsh and cold regions or if one is suffering from tremendous stress. So, when one has Raynaud’s disease then they need to protect the limbs from harsh and cold climates and then try to improve the blood circulation process.

When it comes to treatment of Raynaud’s disease, then moth medication and surgery are advised and sometimes blood thinning medications are also provided. In case of severe bouts, one can make small incisions on the nerves of the affected area.

For those who are prone to Raynaud’s disease are advised to avoid some things that can aggravate the symptoms. One needs to do adequate exercises to keep the body temperature warm and blood circulation normal. One also needs to avoid smoking and wear socks and gloves when they are in a cold temperature area. It is a good idea to avoid caffeine as well. One can go for breathing exercises, yoga and meditation. 

One can also use Ayurvedic medicine to treat Raynaud’s disease and can also take help of some simple home remedies. Cumin, mustard seeds and tamarind can help a lot if one wants to cure Raynaud’s disease with the help of home ingredients.
