Plastic is being used everywhere. It is being used for toothpaste brush, packing bag, packing items, toothpaste tube, etc. But plastic is harmful for the environment and fertile soil because it has properties like non-recyclable and non-decomposable, due to which it is not able to decompose completely and spoils the fertilization stage of the soil and if it is burnt, it also causes air pollution. That is why important steps have been taken to reduce plastic waste. With its help, it can be used in high quality home building material. It can be included in sheets like fire resistant, water resistant, heat resistant, termite resistant.
This is a good step for the environment. This is the most important initiative to create an eco-friendly environment. It has utilized plastic waste by recycling more than 80000 tons of plastic waste. It has eliminated the traditional building materials like plywood, cement, gravel etc. because changes are seen inside the structure of the building over time and their condition starts deteriorating but if building material is used from recycled plastic material, then the building quality can be maintained and carbon emissions and energy are also saved.

India is becoming a major manufacturing hub and for its development industries will be required. Industry is the pillar of the economy and is an important centre and source of employment in the country. But along with production this wastage will also increase. To control this and to avoid problems like global warming it is very important that these industrial wastes are recycled. India is a developing country in which industrial expansion cannot be reduced or curtailed. Therefore, for a clean environment and a clean country steps like recycle, reuse, reduce will have to be taken and tough decisions will have to be taken to stop industrial waste and pollution.
It is playing a vital role in maintaining an environment and maintaining a clean ecosystem. It is helping industries to set up manufacturing units and convert waste into building materials through continuous research and development and market testing.
