Tinder is certainly allowing you to avoid all your ex's, associates, colleagues, relatives, and anyone else you don't want to give access to your account in this dating app. The firm declared now it’ll proceed to allow users to block their phone contacts.

Romance-seekers can obtain the options from their settings, under the “Block Contacts” button, where they can specify which contacts they would like to block — it means those people won’t surface for them, & vice versa.

Tinder users can also upload their full connection list to Tinder or combine them one by one. Tinder states it will not collect everyone’s contacts — only the people they have opted to block — and users can unblock or separate their contacts list at any moment. Blocked contacts will not get to know that they have been blocked. Of course, there’s no obvious way of identifying if an ex or different update worthy user even has a Tinder profile; it’s more of a preventative step. And if a blocked person has since modified their phone number and connects to Tinder, their profile could still revolve.

No one knows why Tinder practiced so much time to launch this feature, but conceivably, new users won’t possess to know the difficulty of strolling into an ex on Tinder ever again.
