No Need to Say "Hey Google" Now!
Google has existed to be working on a new characteristic named ‘Guacamole’ for Google Assistant. This characteristic will let users conduct Google Assistant activities rapidly without retaining to utilize the “Hey Google” wake phrase. The recent characteristic was found in the latest Google application beta version of Android 11 by Android Police.
The characteristic got on live on the settings sheet of Google Assistant. You can browse if your Android 11 has the characteristic through the beta edition 12.15.9.29 of the Google application. It is noticeable in the Google Assistant settings menu below “Guacamole”. Google characterizes Guacamole as “Quickly bring aspects performed with Guacamole”. Once you dab on it you will have to begin voice shortcuts that will not expect you to mumble “Hey Google” to initiate Assistant characteristics.
Once this is facilitated, you will be eligible to ask Google Assistant to execute specific tasks without yelling Hey Google. These immediate tasks include turning off buzzers, timers, and calls. So you can clearly say “Stop”, “Snooze” or “Answer/decline the call” and the Assistant will conduct the following activities. The Google Nest Hub yet has a related characteristic wherein you can say “stop” to deactivate chiming buzzers.
Characteristic that is prevailing to be currently assessed among Google workers only. There’s no phrase on when it will go live for all users but it will vastly possible to see a reveal at the approaching Google I/O exhibition in May. If Google is scheduling to go along with the name Guacamole for this characteristic is something we cannot confirm.
