Grok Introduces Memory Feature for Personalized Replies Based on Chat History
ChatGPT, a new model created by OpenAI, is an improvement of Elon Musk’s launched chatbot called Grok, and this one includes memory. This improvement is a suggestion to add more interesting features to the AI engine so that it is more responsive to the A.I users; the next level of the User and AI.
Key Highlights:
- The latest update includes contextual memory so that Grok AI can remember previous dialogues to craft better answers.
- The chat history of users is also stored in the platform where they can change its name and even delete it.
- The update also offers the “Fun Mode” which provides more lively and comical dialogues.
- Previous Grok version comes with a limit of up to 128,000 tokens which makes it a better model to handle complex documents.
- Grok is now available for free, however, there are some restrictions on the usage of this tool.
Another feature it has is memory, through which Grok can create an account of what has been said in preceding chats. Moreover, users can scroll through the messages of a specific chat, change the name of the chat to ensure it can be easily found, or even delete the chat on their own. The informational section, available on the website and in the iOS application, is designed to let users at least somewhat affect the functioning of the AI in terms of this particular functionality.
This is a new improvement of Grok-1.5 to process texts up to 128000 tokens, and it is also anew enhancement of elaboration of extensive information. Thus, Grok is completely free, although it has restricted options: writing up to ten messages within 2 hours and analysis of no more than three images a day; however, this makes this program an equal to the ChatGPT and Gemini by Google.
These updates demonstrate xAI’s improvements on the chatbot to increase users’ satisfaction and the chatbot’s functionalities in the hope of making Grok a top-chatbot in the market.
