The contribution, comprising a $5 million employee donation matched and doubled by the company, marks Nvidia's largest humanitarian fundraiser in its 30-year history.

Employees from over 30 countries joined forces, raising $5 million, which Nvidia then matched and increased to $10 million through a special program aimed at aiding those impacted by the conflict. This collective effort underscores the widespread compassion within Nvidia's diverse workforce.

Concerns for Colleague's Safety

Expressing concern for their colleague Avinatan Or, a 30-year-old engineer at Nvidia captured by Hamas during the Nova music festival, the company's deputy general counsel, Gideon Rosenberg, conveyed gratitude for the support and hopes for the safe return of Or and other hostages.

Diverse Aid Initiatives

Nvidia's donations target various non-profit organizations in the region, including Asor Fund (JGive), American Friends of Magen David Adom, Doctors Without Borders, Friends of United Hatzalah, IsraAID (US) Global Humanitarian Assistance, Jewish Agency for Israel, World Central Kitchen, and Zaka.

Beyond Financial Contributions

In addition to the monetary support, Nvidia has further demonstrated its commitment by donating hundreds of computers to families evacuated from Israel's north and south. The company's Yokneam office cafeteria has also played a role in providing thousands of hot meals for those affected by the conflict.
