    SrNo. IPv4(Internet Protocol version 4) IPv6(Internet Protocol version 4)
    1. The Address space is 32 bits. The address space is 128 bits.
    2. Into the ip4 is used 4 bytes for each address in the Header. And Into the ip4 is used 16 bytes for each address in the Header.
    3. The header's length capacity is 20 bytes. The header's length capacity is 40 bytes.
    4. The number of Header field is 12 in ip4. The number of Header field is 8 in ip6.
    5. Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) with respect to network security is optional. Internet Protocol Security (IPSec) with respect to network security is mandatory.
    6. Checksum field used to measure the error in the header, required.  Checksum field eliminated from the header as the error in the IP header are to very crucial. 
    7. Released in 1981 Released in 1999
