I’ve come across answers where a citation is relevant to the general topic, but the linked page doesn’t seem to support the exact sentence it’s attached to. The source may discuss the same issue while leaving out a number, date, or comparison in the answer.
When that happens, do you treat it as a weak citation, or is there a better way to check whether the answer has combined details from several sources? I’m looking for practical ways to verify the claim without assuming that a clickable citation proves every part of it.
