I’m building an app where a user might start a conversation on one device and continue it later on another. With the Responses API, can I reliably resume that exchange using a saved response ID, or should my app also store and resend the conversation history?

I’m especially curious about what happens to earlier context and tool results after a long pause. How are others handling Responses API conversation state in production?
