I often use Perplexity to gather background for a topic, then move the useful parts into a report or shared document. I’m not sure what happens to the source links when I copy an answer or save it outside Perplexity.

Do the citations remain attached in a usable way in exported research notes, or do you usually need to collect and format the links separately? I’d also be interested in whether the behavior differs between copying text and using an export option.
