I’ve been experimenting with Claude Artifacts for a small interactive tool. The interface works well, but I’m unsure what to expect if someone closes it and comes back later—or opens it in a different chat.
Can an Artifact reliably save user-entered data between sessions, or should I treat it as temporary and build persistence elsewhere? I’m not looking for a full database setup; I’d just like to know what survives a reload and what is tied to the current conversation.
If you’ve built something people actually use, what did you choose for saving their work?
