I have a few Claude conversations that run for days and accumulate decisions, exceptions, and small details that matter later. I’m wondering what happens when an older thread gets condensed or its earlier context is no longer available: does Claude preserve the actual constraints, or mostly the broad direction of the discussion?
If you’ve worked in long Claude conversations, have you found a reliable way to notice when a specific earlier detail has dropped out of context? I’m especially curious about cases where a short exception changes the meaning of a larger plan.
