I’ve had Claude provide a citation that points to a page whose current wording no longer supports the claim in the answer. It’s hard to tell whether the page changed after the response was generated or whether the citation was a loose match to begin with.
For people using Claude’s web search for research, what’s your process for checking a citation? Do you save a copy of the cited page, or is there a reliable way to confirm what Claude actually saw at the time?
