I use a Claude Project with reference files that get updated every so often. If I replace one of those files while a chat in that Project is already open, will the conversation use the revised material on its next turn, or does it keep working from the version available when the chat started?

I’m trying to work out whether I need to start a fresh chat after updating project knowledge. If you’ve tested this, I’d be interested in what you observed, especially when the new file changes a specific fact rather than adding a whole new section.
