For research on topics that are covered differently in different countries, I often search in English but suspect useful material exists in other languages. Does Perplexity look for non-English sources in that situation, or should I write the query in each language myself?

I’m also wondering how it presents those results: does it cite the original-language page, translate the relevant passage, or tend to favor English-language coverage? Experiences with multilingual research would be helpful.
