In a long Claude chat, I sometimes return to a detail from much earlier and ask for a comparison or a follow-up. I’m curious what happens as the conversation approaches its context limit: does Claude make room by summarizing older turns, stop using them, or give some indication that the earlier context is no longer available?
If you rely on Claude for ongoing research or drafting, how do you keep important decisions from getting lost in a long Claude conversation?
