I’m considering using ChatGPT’s data analysis feature to make a few changes to an uploaded Excel workbook. If I ask it to update some values or add a column, will the returned file keep the original formulas and sheet layout, or might it replace formulas with calculated values?

If you’ve tried this with a workbook that has linked sheets or formatting, I’d be interested to hear what held up and what needed checking afterward.
