I’m building a small app around the OpenAI API and am trying to understand how to handle conversation IDs. If two people in my app accidentally end up using the same ID, could one person’s messages become part of the other person’s conversation?

Do you treat conversation IDs across users as private, user-owned state, or is there a recommended way to enforce that separation in your own application?
