I’m looking at using Claude to compare successive versions of internal policies. A normal text diff catches every edit, but what I need is a useful review: changed obligations, exceptions, dates, or definitions, while ignoring harmless rewrites.
Has anyone tried this with long policy documents? I’m curious whether Claude can point to the relevant passages in both versions and keep substantive changes separate from editorial ones. If it tends to miss small but meaningful changes, I’d like to know what review process has worked for you.
