I’m looking at the OpenAI Realtime API for a voice feature where people may be calling from a busy room, not a quiet studio. How does it cope with background conversations, traffic, or a microphone that’s a little too far away?
I’m especially interested in whether it tends to transcribe the main speaker incorrectly or jump in while someone is still talking. If you’ve tested it in real-world conditions, what kind of setup gave you reliable results?
