I’ve been trying Perplexity for quick research because it shows sources alongside its answers. That makes it easier to check claims, but I’ve also seen cases where a cited page only partly supports the sentence it’s attached to.
When you use Perplexity, do you open every source or treat the citations as a starting point? I’m curious whether people have a reliable way to check that a source actually backs up the specific claim, especially for health, legal, or technical topics.
